		<description>The amount of water you need varies from person to person, the average person needs around 8 eight-ounce glasses a day. This can come from all different sources, not necessarily drinking water, but of course that is best. 
In the summers, in the heat you do need to drink a little more than that. Generally speaking if you&#039;re thirsty drink, try to at least get a glass in between meals and always try to have some water with you. A quick little test to see if you&#039;re dehydrated is pressing down on your thumb, if i takes a couple of seconds for your thumb to reform, you are dehydrated. 
Drinking too much water can potentially be bad for you as well, in the summers we do need a little salt to keep us going as well. (There is salt in sweat as well afterall) So make sure you do consume a little salt as well.</description>
